Unsolicited Submission

IGT Proprietary Idea Submission

IGT does not solicit suggestion, ideas or disclosures and providing this mechanism does not constitute an invitation or request to make a disclosure to IGT.

Process Overview

Before disclosing your information to IGT, you should understand that IGT makes extensive research and development investment of our own, as part of our business. It is very likely that in the course of our research and development we may have already conceived of your idea, or one similar to it. It is also possible that your idea has been previously suggested to IGT. A vast majority of third party disclosures are never pursued and IGT does not often pay for unsolicited ideas and suggestions. Proceeding further involves waiver of rights. IGT will only accept your disclosure if you agree that your disclosure does not bind IGT in any way. You are submitting your disclosure entirely at your own risk. IGT recommends that you consult with independent legal counsel and review the External Submission Agreement carefully before accepting it.

We also want you to be aware that IGT does not compensate submitters for disclosures unless the parties enter into a written agreement, separate from the External Disclosure Agreement, in which IGT expressly agrees to pay such compensation. Further, under no circumstances will IGT compensate you for suggestions on improving its products or for disclosures containing non-proprietary ideas.

Please note that disclosure of your information is on a voluntary and non-confidential basis only. The act of accepting your disclosure does not obligate IGT to maintain its confidentiality, or to prevent IGT from making third parties aware of your disclosure.

IGT will contact you if it wishes to pursue your disclosure.
