OFFICIAL RULES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS COMPETITION and a purchase will not increase your chances
of winning. Competition open to all who are 21 years of age or older and in physical attendance at the G2E Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada
at time of entry. Void where prohibited. Employees (and the employees’ immediate family members living in the same household) of the Sponsor and its
advertising companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, promotion and delivery contractors and/or public relations companies, are not eligible to participate.
How to enter: IGT’s G2E SCVNGR contest ("Competition") begins November 16, 2010 at 10:00 AM PT and ends November 18, 2010,
at 3:00 PM PT. All entries must be submitted within this period. To be eligible, text IGTG2E to 728647 or download a free SCVNGR iPhone or Android application
and submit correct answers to the provided clues and riddles. All entrants must have a text messaging two-way capable handset and digital service in
order to enter the Competition using the text messaging method. Entrants will be sent a text message in connection with entry in the Competition and
may be sent additional text messages in connection with their participation in the Competition. By participating via text, entrants will be charged
standard rates for text messages sent and received from their handset according to the terms and conditions in their wireless calling plans. Other carrier
charges may apply; check with your carrier to determine other charges. Text messaging and wireless service are not available in all areas; check with
your carrier for availability. Participating via text message only works on U.S. and Canadian carriers. Entrant contact information must be accurate
and include a valid email address and phone number. IGT will not notify entrants if their submission has been accepted or rejected. Each entry must be
made by an individual through the SCVNGR platform. The use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited. IGT has no obligation to preserve
or return any entry materials, but will treat entry materials in accordance with its privacy policy, which is available upon request.
By participating, entrants will be charged standard rates for data, emails, and text messages sent and received from their handset according to the
terms and conditions in their wireless calling plans. Other carrier charges may apply; check with your carrier to determine other charges. Email and
wireless service are not available in all areas; check with your carrier for availability. The IGT Trek is administered, hosted and managed by SCVNGR
technology, and, accordingly, all rules and regulations, as well as details concerning how any information you provide hereunder, may be used by SCVNGR
in accordance with its Terms and Conditions, Privacy
Policy, and Frequently Asked Questions.
Winner Selection: To be eligible to win the prize, an entrant will have to completed the trek in its entirety with correct answers
and complete content submission. Those that qualify for the selection pool, will then be entered into a drawing as administered by RANDOM.ORG. If no
participants complete the challenge and earn all points, the participant(s) with the highest score will be entered into the drawing and the same selection
process will be followed. The drawing is conducted using a random number generator and selection process. If you have any questions regarding the quality
of the randomness or the drawing procedure, you can contact, RANDOM.ORG directly.
The drawing will take place on or by November 29, 2010 after the contest period after all potential entries have been validated and confirmed.
Each challenge will be associated a point value on the whole number scale of one to five points. To earn all the points, challenges must be answered
correctly and/or all associated content must be submitted within the time period. If a participant answers a question wrong three times in a row, they
will be moved on to the next challenge receiving zero points.
Entrants agree that all decisions made by the Sponsor relating to any and all issues related to this Contest are final and binding. Please do not contact
us about the status of entries.
Notification: The prize winner will be notified once by email on or about November 30, 2010, at the email address provided at time
of entry. If a potential prize winner cannot be reached, does not respond within five calendar days, does not fulfill the eligibility requirements, does
not adhere to the Official Rules, or if contact is made, and the prize offered is refused, that individual will be disqualified and an alternate winner
will be selected.
Prize: One (1) Apple iPad will be awarded by November 30, 2010 to one (1) prize winner. The iPad is 64GB with 3G and wireless
capability and has an actual retail value ("ARV") of $899.99. The prize is not transferable and no substitutions are permitted except at the sole discretion
of IGT and SCVNGR. A potential winner may be requested to provide the Sponsor with an affidavit and/or proof that the potential winner is the authorized
account holder of the phone number associated with the winning entry and that all eligibility requirements are met. Limit: one prize per entrant. Taxes,
if any, are the responsibility of the prize winner. The prize winner assumes any and all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be
caused, by participating in this promotion or use or redemption of the prize.
Entry Limit: Limit one submission per person and per mobile phone number. Attempts made by the same individual to enter using multiple
e-mail addresses will be disqualified. Each Submission must be made by an individual contestant, only through SCVNGR mobile platforms. Submissions made
by any other individual or any entity, and/or originating at any other phone number, including but not limited to commercial promotion, subscription
notification and/or entering services, will be declared invalid and disqualified for this Competition. The use of any device to automate the entry process
is prohibited. Sponsor’s computer clock shall be the official clock of the Competition. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant,
entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the email account associated with the registration. The player must be physically present at G2E while
competing. All responses to clues and challenges must reflect the efforts of the entrant and not an outside aid. By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance
with these official rules including all eligibility requirements.
IGT, including its directors, officers, employees, and agents, and any telephone network or service providers are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate
transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, and lost/delayed data transmissions. In addition, failures of any
telephone network, computer equipment, software, or inability to access the website or online service, or any other error or malfunction is not the responsibility
of the sponsors. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. IGT reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or competitor whose
conduct appears in any way to: inhibit the enjoyment of other competitors or G2E participants; tamper with the Competition or SCVNGR; violate these Rules,
Terms and Conditions; or act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
Release: By entering, entrants agree to release, waive, and hold harmless IGT and SCVNGR from and against any and all claims, losses,
damages, and liability arising from injuries (including death), damages, costs, or expenses of any kind (including without limitation attorney's fees)
incurred as a result of the entrant's participation in this Competition and/or their acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize or element thereof. IGT
is not responsible for incomplete or misdirected entries, technical malfunctions or failures, or causes beyond its control. Any attempt to deliberately
damage the content or operation of this Competition is unlawful and subject to legal action by IGT. IGT is not responsible for printing or typographical
errors or problems in connection with any materials related to the Competition.
Publicity: By entering the Competition, entrants grant IGT a royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to display,
distribute, reproduce, and create derivative works of their entries and challenge answers, including photographs submitted, in whole or in part, in any
media now existing or subsequently developed, for any commercial, educational, promotional, publicity, exhibition, archival purpose. Entrants further
agree that IGT may use their name, likeness, voice, statements, and image for any educational, promotional, archival or any other standard museum purpose
in any media whatsoever. IGT will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such uses. IGT
is under no obligation to use any entry material or challenge answer. Upon request, entrant will provide model releases for all persons depicted in photographs
the entrant submits to the Competition; failure to provide requested releases may result in disqualification.
Who Won: For the name of the winner, available after the conclusion of the competition, please visit http://www.igt.com/G2E2010 and
click on "Learn More" under the SCVNGR logo. The winner's name will be posted for 30 days following awarding of the prize.
