On May 10-12, IGT hosted its sixth annual Retail Workshop in Rome, Italy.
Once again, the event proved to be very successful, providing lottery retail and marketing managers an opportunity to meet with peers and colleagues to exchange retail learnings, case studies, insights, and developments. More importantly, it was the perfect forum to foster collaborative discussions with a view to sharing knowledge and the results of various initiatives within the industry.
This year’s workshop was attended by 22 lottery delegates from 12 lotteries, as well as representatives from IGT. The agenda was designed around eight lottery and five IGT presentations, and also retailer visits in the city of Rome, organized by Lottomatica.

• Managing Innovation to Keep Retail Relevant
• The Future of Emotional Engagement in Retail
• IGT Retail Business Tools
Delegates were given the opportunity to have their say on some of these presentations using a smartphone voting application in real time for better engagement.
Lottery Business updates were presented by six of the attending lotteries.
