Wheel of Fortune Hits for $1.8 Million at Bally's Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- A bout of insomnia sent a California visitor down to Bally's casino in the wee hours Wednesday morning where he turned a $20 investment in Wheel of Fortune quarters into a $1. 8 million win. Edward Feaser, Jr. of Las Flores, Calif. , said he really likes the popular slot machine and a series of smaller jackpots kept him playing until the big one hit.

The 45-year-old labor relations specialist was in Las Vegas on business and says he has no plans on quitting his job. "I may think about opening my own business sometime in the future but for now I plan to continue working. " He says he'll make some investments with his winnings and maybe fix up his house.

At first, Feaser wasn't sure how much he had won and said that when he realized that he had, in fact, won the big progressive, it felt "surreal. " Who knew surreal could feel so good?

Wheel of Fortune is based on the world's most popular game show and is one of 20 Nevada MegaJackpots systems operated by IGT (NYSE: IGT), the world leader in the manufacturing of gaming machines and proprietary software for progressive gaming systems. All IGT MegaJackpots are paid in annual installments upon verification, except Regis' Cash Club, $1,000,000 Pyramid, Elvis, Spooky Slots, Harley-Davidson Video Slots, Party Time, and video Jeopardy! which are paid in their entirety upon verification.
