Three U.S. lotteries have launched the Winner’s Choice™ turnkey program from IGT, designed with players’ wants in mind.
Unlike traditional second chance promotions that offer fixed prizes, Winner’s Choice™ promotes player engagement and awareness by letting players drive the experience that is most appealing and fun for them ─ and enter drawings for the prizes they want to win.
The promotion also offers a high degree of flexibility to lotteries, as it can be tied to any game in a lottery’s portfolio, including a single game, a family of games, or a licensed game.
Additionally, some lucky winners were awarded VIP prizes, which consisted of their choice from six unique trip prize packages or $7,000 cash.
As a full-service instants partner to the Rhode Island Lottery, IGT supported the launch in early February this year of another new Winner’s Choice™ customizable player experience.
In the Rhode Island promotion, tied to the Lottery’s $10 “Premier VIP” instant game, players who are selected as winners in the second chance drawing will have the opportunity to choose from eight different prize options, including all-expenses-paid trips to seven popular regional and national destinations, or they can select the cash equivalent of each trip.
Also in February, the Mississippi Lottery launched IGT’s new Wheel of Fortune® Winner’s Choice™ second chance program and supported the game with a turnkey marketing and advertising campaign featuring America’s Sweetheart, Vanna White.
Mississippi’s campaign included everything from traditional point-of-sale materials like posters and standees, to digital ads, social media campaigns, and more. The program is packed with prize choices for players to select from, including trips to Los Angeles to attend a taping of Wheel of Fortune®, several other exciting travel packages, and cash.
